This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply all of the products (“Products”) listed on our website www.timberzone.co.uk (“our site”) to you...
1. Information
1.1 This website (www.timberzone.co.uk) is operated by Timberzone Wood Flooring Ltd (“Timberzone”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14249203).
1.2 Our registered and trading address is: 146 High Road, London, England, N2 9ED.
2. Formation of Contract
2.1 By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase our Products.
2.2 We will confirm receipt of your order by email. This does not constitute acceptance.
2.3 A binding contract (“Contract”) is only formed when we issue a second email confirming order acceptance.
2.4 The Contract will apply only to the Products listed in the acceptance confirmation.
3. Consumer Cancellation Rights
3.1 If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel your order within 3 working days from the order date. A 30% restocking charge applies.
3.2 Cancellations must be made in writing to our registered office or via email (info@timberzone.co.uk).
3.3 You are responsible for returning goods at your own cost.
3.4 Bespoke or made-to-order Products are non-refundable once production begins.
4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery charges apply to all orders. Delivery times are typically 5–7 working days.
4.2 Charges apply for next-day or fixed-date deliveries.
4.3 Do not book installers until goods are received and inspected.
4.4 Products become your responsibility upon delivery. Title transfers on full payment.
4.5 If no one is present, re-delivery fees apply.
4.6 Free storage for 1 week. Then £25.99 + VAT per pallet/week applies.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1 Prices exclude VAT unless specified.
5.2 VAT may adjust with rate changes.
5.3 Pricing errors will be corrected before dispatch.
5.4 If higher than quoted, we’ll seek confirmation.
5.5 Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, debit card.
5.6 We are not liable for your bank charges.
6. Products and Samples
6.1 Samples are for guidance only. Natural variation in wood occurs.
6.2 Website colours may vary from physical products.
7. Liability
7.1 Our liability is limited to the value of goods and direct losses.
7.2 We are not liable for loss of income, savings, or indirect damages.
7.3 We do not exclude liability for death/injury, fraud, or statutory rights.
8. Warranty
8.1 Domestic: 20-year warranty.
8.2 Commercial: 5-year warranty.
8.3 Warranty void if incorrectly installed.
8.4 Proof of purchase required. Non-transferable.
9. Import Duties (International Orders)
9.1 Import taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
9.2 We are not liable for local customs compliance.
10. Communications
10.1 We communicate via email to meet legal requirements.
11. Notices
11.1 Send notices to: Timberzone, 146 High Road, London, N2 9ED or info@timberzone.co.uk.
11.2 Emails are deemed received after 24 hours.
12. Transfer of Rights
12.1 This agreement binds both parties.
12.2 Clients cannot transfer rights without our consent.
12.3 Timberzone may assign or subcontract obligations.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 We are not liable for delays due to external factors like strikes, pandemics, or disasters.
13.2 Obligations are suspended during such events.
14. Waiver
14.1 Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
14.2 Waivers must be in writing.
15. Severability
15.1 If one clause is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
16. Entire Agreement
16.1 These terms replace all prior discussions or representations.
16.2 Only what's written here is legally binding.
17. Changes to Terms
17.1 We may revise terms at any time.
17.2 Changes only apply to future orders unless required by law.
18. Project Terms
18.1 Clients must not defame the company after acceptance.
18.2 Legal action may follow defamation.
18.3 Offers are binding unless clause 18.2 is breached.
18.4 Unprepared sites are a breach of contract.
18.5 Late Cancellations: Cancelling within 7 days or on install day = breach of contract.

Timberzone reserves the right to:
Retain deposits
Apply a minimum £500+VAT charge
Recover additional losses
Hold the client responsible for lost business
19. Governing Law
19.1 Governed by English law.
19.2 Legal disputes resolved in England and Wales courts.
20. Third Party Rights
20.1 No third party has rights under this contract.
