The engineered structure pairs a real oak top layer with a carefully balanced core, so the boards can cope with variations in temperature and humidity across different zones of the property. That makes it suitable for combining underfloor heating in some rooms with radiators or unheated spaces elsewhere, while still maintaining a consistent surface look.

Where there are existing floors, stairs or cabinetry to work to, the bespoke approach lets us tune board width, length and edge treatment so junctions look intentional rather than improvised. We can work towards a closer colour relationship with your current floors, or intentionally contrast them, depending on how you want the transitions to feel.

During the planning stage we can review drawings, floor build-ups and design references, then propose a board build, pattern and fixing method that respects the technical side of the job as well as the visual outcome. The aim is a bespoke engineered oak floor that feels seamless across different areas, even when the building fabric itself is quite varied.
